This free evening (from 6 to 7:30) is complete with sensory bottle crafts, stress-relief raffle items, a light dinner, book giveaways and an interactive presentation on healthy living. It will be held at Quakertown Elementary School, 123 South Seventh Street. Parents and students in all of the district's elementary schools are welcome to attend.

This is the third of seven Family Nights in the district, which has partnered with the Family Service Association of Bucks County to develop. The goal is to help parents of elementary school students build strong relationships with their children.

Parking is available in the Quakertown Community High School parking lot, between Fifth and Sixth streets on Park Ave.

“This is another excellent opportunity for all of our Quakertown Community School District families to learn about the local resources available to them right here in our community,” said QE Principal Dr. Michael Zackon. “When families are engaged in their children’s education, it helps their students become better learners. Ultimately, that’s what this is all about.”

Additional Family Nights are scheduled for January 21, February 11, March 17 and April 14.

Other topics include Cops and Kids; Fire Safety, Healthy Living, and Personal Safety.
